FACT:  Each week, Golf Pride is the leading grip played from tee-to-green on the PGA TOUR, with an average of 80% of pros choosing Golf Pride swing grips in each event, without any paid endorsers.

FACT: Grips need to be replaced often and with Father’s Day on the horizon, re-gripping Dad’s clubs are a great present.

Golf Pride’s new oversized TOUR SNSR putter grips feature large TOUR -proven shapes that are engineered with innovative SNSR material to deliver unsurpassed feedback into a golfer’s hands to improve’ distance control. The soft-tuned rubber formulation gives these grips extraordinary feel and encourages lighter grip pressure that golfers seek in creating a smooth stroke.

Players can dial in the feel that fits them best with two TOUR proven shapes, the TOUR SNSR CONTOUR and the TOUR SNSR STRAIGHT.

TOUR SNSR CONTOUR is an evolution of the classic tapered pistol profile that is the shape preference of over 75% of Tour players. The pistol allows golfers to “lock in” their upper hand for consistent hand placement, which translates to more confidence in every stroke.

TOUR SNSR STRAIGHT (104cc) offers a contemporary, non-taper shape promoting a consistent hand pressure and feel. The straight taper design features soft, rounded edges that are strategically beveled for palm and finger
pad comfort.

All TOUR SNSR models feature a wide paddle front, sculpted to promote lighter grip pressure and consistent hand placement. Additionally, they are each finished with a traction-textured design that provides heightened feel and moisture control. Each shape is available in two oversize options, 104cc and 140cc.  The TOUR SNSR Series is currently available at retail outlets and features a street price of $24.99.

In addition to Golf Pride’s putter grips, two new swing grips have been introduced to the market:

The MCC Align Grips and the MCC Plus4 Align grips.

MCC Align GripsDo you remember the “Reminder” grips a few years ago? About a third of the pros used to use them. These were designed to help a player to get the club face square and hit balls down their desired target lines, even if their hands were not properly placed.

Unlike previous reminder grips, the new MCC and MCC Plus4 offer a more pronounced rib. This dedicated raised ridge makes it easier for players to get their hands in the right position and is the key to having the correct hand placement to get the club square at impact.

Both MCC products feature cord material in the upper portion of the grip and rubber in the lower part, with the MCC offering a traditional taper, while the MCC Plus4 offers a thicker profile in the lower part for those who find this innovation enables them to get their hands through their shots easier.

And now, with the Align Technology, the grips also have a dedicated raised Red ridge on the back. That ridge feels
more prominent to players due to a unique micro-diamond texture and material that is 50 percent firmer when compared to the surrounding grip area. The “elevation lift” is maximized which allows players to lock the grip into the fingers in just the right places.

The MCC Plus4 model: The standard grip has a core of .600” and weighs 53 grams, while the Midsize weighs 67 grams and also has a core of .600”.  Available in a Black/Grey combination. $11.99 per grip.

The MCC Align model: The standard grip has a core of .600” and weighs 51 grams, while the Midsize weighs 62 grams and also has a core of .600”.  Available in a Black/Grey combination. $11.99 per grip.

Earlier this year, Lamkin Grips, one of the premier grip manufacturers, introduced two new Flat Cat putter grips, the Flat Cat and the Flat Cat Solution. Both Justin Rose and Jason Kokrak are devotees, with Justin almost winning the Masters.

The Flat Cat Putter Grip

The Flat Cat Putter Grip The Flat Cat Putter GripThe revolutionary FLAT CAT 1 putter grip, with its unique design, puts the face of the putter in the palm of your hand. Each side of the FLAT CAT grip is in a parallel plane with the putter face, allowing every golfer to establish a personal feel with the face of their putter no matter what their putting style – traditional, left-hand low, saw, claw and more. Available in five sizes to ensure the best personal feel for every golfer, including the NEW Svelte model.    Weight is 53 grams and a .580” core. Also available in four other sizes: Slim, Standard, Big Boy and Fat each featuring a different weight. $24.99.

The FLAT CAT Solution is designed with FLAT CAT’s patented FLAT 1™ grip technology that squares the hands and arms to the putter face to ensure a square face at impact. The design of the FLAT CAT Solution allows every golfer to establish a personal feel with the face of their putter no matter what their putting style – traditional, left-hand low,
saw, claw and more.

The weighted stainless steel cone on the FLAT CAT Solution grip is optimally located beneath the hands to create a more stable, pendulum-like feel without adding weight to the putter head itself. Weighting the putter head can make it more difficult to consistently control distance. The unique position of the weighted cone on the Solution grip makes the putter head feel heavier without sacrificing feel or distance control. This instantly creates a smoother, yip-free stroke. Available in a Standard (172 grams) or Fat (197 grams) size. $49.99
